Dreams Worth Keeping - Poem What do you do when love drifts from sight? Do you close down your heart, lock it up tight? Such a mistake, for there’s so much to living, And so many more for your heart to be giving.
What do you do when you struggle and strain To bring beauty to life, for others to gain, And no one sees the toil makes you bleed? Know that someone, somewhere will cherish your deed.
What do you do when your last ounce of hope Has been spent searching, and now you grope For reasons so often out of your control? Just surrender to faith and expand your soul.
Your dreams are worth keeping, not letting pass by. Stay in focus, you just gotta try. Don’t let them get crushed along the way, As reality changes from day to day.
Now about this reality. You make it yourself. It doesn’t come packaged off a store shelf. You practice, fail and get up once more. The best life will come when you open the door.

RefrainYour dreams are worth keeping, don’t ever doubt. Stay on course ‘til the end. Shape them and slowly figure them out. When challenged, rise to defend.
What do you do when your last ounce of hope Has been spent searching, and now you grope For reasons so often out of your control? Just surrender to faith and expand your soul.
RefrainYour dreams are worth keeping, not letting pass by. Stay in focus, you just gotta try. Don’t let them get crushed along the way, As reality changes from day to day.
Now about this reality. You make it yourself. It doesn’t come packaged off a store shelf. You practice, fail and get up once more. The best life will come when you open the door.
RefrainYour dreams are worth keeping, try to endure. Through ups and downs, they’ll work out for sure. Even if your way sometimes seems lost. The payoff will be well worth the cost.
