If I Died Tomorrow
If I died tomorrow, this is what I’d do. My soul would hover over the people that I knew.
I’d listen to what they said, and see if I agreed With how they saw me when I lived, compared to how they grieved.
Would they say kindly things, as I hope they would. Or would I hear that they were glad that I no longer stood?
I can imagine some would not react as I would like. Others, quite surprisingly, may cause me pure delight.
Now before it gets too late, perhaps I’d better strive To do unto others – you know the rest – while I am still alive!
