Leaders using power for their own needs.

Mothers turning away from unborn cries.

Conmen cashing in on elderly seeds.

All trashing God, quoting Him in their lies.

Foul winds taking down ancient trees.

Dead fishes rising from the deep.

Poison filling up rivers and seas,

Spoils what we were trusted to keep.

Devouring everything we can find,

Bloated bodies, such a fright.

Looking past the warning signs.

Ignoring outcomes of our plight.

For creatures smartest in the land,

Unless we change by our decidin’.
